Dark and Moody In the Sheets

Today is another lesson on what to wear for your Hot Tomato Portraits Session. We get so many questions about clothing from our clients and rightly so – it can so confusing and overwhelming to choose just the right outfit! This is a case of “Less is More”. Ms. M had the most gorgeous, auburn curls and the type of smile that made YOU smile every time it appeared. The light was moody in our downtown Marietta, Ohio studio and we used it to our advantage that day.

We often suggest an “In the Sheets” session when clients are limited on wardrobe or just want a look that is more bare while still maintaining some mystery. Implied nudity is what we go for in these shots and honestly it’s flattering on anyone! There is no fabric cutting into you anywhere so no worries about ill fitting lingerie. Sheets are very forgiving and allow us to strategically drape and reveal to create the perfect, sexy vignette. One outfit handled and hella sexy!
